Ep 2. Split Second

Kiera and Carlos investigate a series of murders where the victims all died within seconds of each other. The team quickly discovers that the killings were caused by a group of genetically enhanced soldiers that were part of a government program. Kiera soon finds herself face to face with one of the soldiers, Curtis Chen, who has been hired by the mysterious corporation, Piron, to provide security. The two engage in a game of cat and mouse as Kiera struggles to stop the soldiers from carrying out their next mission while also uncovering Piron's true motives. Meanwhile, Alec struggles with the realization that he may be responsible for unleashing these genetically enhanced soldiers into the present day and must decide whether to come forward with the truth or keep it hidden to protect himself and those around him. As tensions rise and the stakes get higher, Kiera must make difficult decisions that could have major consequences for her and the future.
