When 30-year-old Hayley, played by Lucy Gaskell, is diagnosed with a brain tumour she insists that her husband Phil, played by Gareth Farr, looks to the future, suggesting that he goes on a succession of blind dates. Phil hates the idea, but reluctantly agrees.
