In Comic Book Men season 7 episode 10, titled "Troma-tized," the guys of the Secret Stash comic book store dive deep into the world of Troma Entertainment, the independent film studio known for their outrageous horror and comedy movies.
The episode starts off with a rare visit from Lloyd Kaufman, the co-founder of Troma Entertainment and the director of cult classics like "The Toxic Avenger" and "Tromeo and Juliet." Lloyd brings in some rare Troma memorabilia, including a limited edition "Toxie" action figure and some original artwork from the films.
As the guys discuss the legacy of Troma Entertainment, they also take a look at some of the weirder and more obscure items in the store. They come across an old "Star Trek" coloring book from the 1970s, as well as an original "Sesame Street" record that contains some surprising adult jokes.
Later on, the guys get a visit from a Troma fan who brings in a replica of the iconic "Toxic Avenger" mask. The guys are impressed by the craftsmanship and attention to detail, and they start to wonder if they should start carrying more Troma merchandise in the store.
But things take a turn when a customer comes in looking for a rare issue of "Preacher," but he doesn't know the issue number or the title. The guys are stumped at first, but as they start to dig through their inventory, they realize that they may have something that could help him out.
Throughout the episode, the guys also engage in their usual banter and friendly competition. Ming tries to teach Walt how to play an arcade game, while Mike and Bryan argue over the merits of various superhero movie adaptations.
