They also learn that there were tensions between NASA officials and the crew members over their roles during the mission. The detectives even go as far as to recreate the circumstances surrounding the astronaut's death in order to understand what could have happened.
As the case progresses, the team finds evidence of a potential cover-up involving the death of the astronaut. They start to unravel a complex web of lies and conspiracies involving NASA officials, the government, and the astronaut's crew members.
Through their investigation, the detectives uncover secrets about the intricacies and politics of the space program in the 1960s and 70s. The episode ends with the team piecing together the events leading up to the astronaut's death and finding a resolution to the case, ultimately bringing closure to the victim's family.
