Coach season 1 episode 10 titled "Define Romance" revolves around the romantic lives of the characters. As the party continues, things become more complicated when Judy's boyfriend reveals that he is married and has kids. This makes Coach re-evaluate his feelings for Judy and he decides to confront her about it. Judy tells him that she has always seen him as a friend and that she is happy with her boyfriend. Coach accepts this and decides to move on.
Towards the end of the episode, Luther realizes that he has been trying too hard to impress Jackie and decides to take Coach's advice. He asks Jackie what she wants for Valentine's Day and learns that all she really wants is for them to spend time together doing something they both enjoy. Luther takes her out for a night of bowling and they have a great time.
Dauber also takes Coach's advice and decides to be honest with Kelly. He tells her the truth about who he is and she responds positively. They make plans to go out on a date together.
In the end, Coach reflects on the lessons he learned about love and relationships. He realizes that love is not just about buying gifts or trying to impress someone. It's about understanding and accepting the other person for who they are and being honest and true to yourself.
