Ep 1. Who You Calling Garbage?

Flint Lockwood is a young inventor who desperately wants to make a difference in his community by creating something that will change the world. His latest invention, a machine that turns water into food, has the potential to solve world hunger and make him a hero. However, things don't go as planned when the machine ends up launching into the sky and causing food to rain down on the town of Swallow Falls.

At first, the townspeople are ecstatic about the prospect of free food falling from the sky. But soon, the food becomes bigger and more dangerous, causing chaos and destruction. It's up to Flint, along with the help of his new friend and aspiring weather reporter, Sam Sparks, to figure out a way to stop the machine before it destroys the town completely.

In the midst of all this chaos, a new character is introduced: Brent McHale, the town's popular mascot. Brent has been tasked with the job of promoting Swallow Falls as a tourist destination, but he's more interested in his fame and popularity than actually helping the town. He sees the food rain as an opportunity to make himself even more famous, and he sets out to endorse the food as a new attraction for the town.

As Flint and Sam work to stop the machine and save the town, Brent's antics cause even more problems. Meanwhile, Flint's father, Tim, is trying to connect with his distant son and understand his inventions, but he finds himself struggling to keep up with Flint's wild imagination.
