The first half of the episode, Clifford's Little Friend, sees Clifford making a new friend, Sid, who is a ferret. They quickly become good buddies, but things get a bit complicated when Clifford realizes that Sid's playful mischief causes trouble for the other dogs in the park, and he initially struggles with what to do. After some thought and advice from his mother, Clifford decides to talk to Sid and express how his behavior affects the other dogs. In the end, Sid learns to be more respectful and things are back to normal in the park for the pups.
The second story, Tricky Business, follows Jorge, who is preparing for a magic show at school. The problem is, he's not very good at it! He panics and decides to ask Shun to help him with a trick, but things start to go wrong when he takes the credit for the trick and doesn't acknowledge Shun's input. Later on, they have a heart-to-heart conversation and Jorge apologizes for what he did and what he thought he had done.
