Ep 5. Doctor Who and the Silurians: Part 1

In season 7 episode 5 of Classic Doctor Who, titled "Doctor Who and the Silurians: Part 1," the Doctor and his companions arrive at a research center deep beneath the earth where scientists are studying a series of mysterious and deadly energy surges. As they investigate, they discover that the energy surges are being caused by a previously unknown race of reptilian creatures known as the Silurians, who have been in hibernation for millions of years.

The Doctor is fascinated by the Silurians and wants to make contact with them, but tensions are high between the reptiles and the humans at the research center. Despite the best efforts of the Doctor and his companions to mediate, a group of Silurians manage to escape and begin a campaign of terror against the humans, sparking a dangerous conflict that threatens to spill over into all-out war.

The Doctor must use all of his skills and knowledge to find a peaceful solution to the conflict before it's too late, but with both sides suffering casualties and mistrusting each other, it seems like an impossible task.
