Ep 16. The Monster of Peladon: Part 2

The Monster of Peladon: Part 2 is the sixteenth episode of the 11th season of Classic Doctor Who. The episode begins where part one left off, with the Doctor and Sarah Jane discovering that the so-called "monster" terrorizing the planet Peladon is, in fact, an Ice Warrior. The Doctor and his companion manage to defrost the creature and convince it to work with them to find out what's really going on.

However, they soon realize that they are embroiled in a political struggle between the Peladonian miners and the ruling royalty. The miners believe that the royal family is keeping their resources from them, while the royals maintain that they are protecting the planet from outside invaders.

As tensions rise, the Doctor and the Ice Warrior work together to uncover the truth. They soon discover that someone is purposely stirring up trouble between the miners and the royals in order to take control of the planet. With the help of Sarah Jane and the royal advisor, the Doctor uncovers a plot to install a puppet ruler and siphon off Peladon's resources for an unknown purpose.

As the situation comes to a head, the Doctor and his allies must use all of their wits - and even the help of unexpected friends - to prevent the planet from falling into chaos. Along the way, they face danger from all sides, from treacherous aliens to their own fellow humans.
