Ep 16. Planet of the Daleks

On the Planet of the Daleks, a team of Thals, a peaceful alien species, has crash-landed on its surface. Their mission is to find a way to destroy the Daleks, the ruthless robotic race that seeks to conquer the universe. The Daleks have a base on the planet, and they use a powerful force field to keep out intruders. The Thals are desperate for help, and they send a distress signal to the TARDIS, the time and space-travelling police box piloted by the Doctor.

The Doctor receives the message and, along with his companion, the brave and resourceful Jo Grant, heads to the Planet of the Daleks. The TARDIS lands, and the Doctor and Jo step out onto a desolate, frozen landscape. The Doctor's first priority is to find out what has happened to the Thals and to disable the Daleks' force field. Using his sonic screwdriver, the Doctor and Jo manage to sneak into the Daleks' base, but they quickly find themselves captured.

Meanwhile, the Thals are in trouble. One of their group, a man named Codal, has been captured by the Daleks, and they are torturing him for information about the Thals' plans. Another Thal, Rebec, is preparing to lead a rescue mission to save Codal. However, Rebec's fiancé, Taron, is adamantly opposed to the plan, arguing it is too dangerous and that he cannot bear to lose her. Rebec persuades him to let her go, and she and a small group of Thals set out into the dangerous jungle that surrounds the Daleks' base.

The Doctor and Jo are taken to see the Dalek Supreme, the leader of the Dalek forces on the planet. The Supreme demands to know what the Doctor and Jo are doing on the planet. The Doctor says that he has come to help the Thals, but the Dalek Supreme is unconvinced. He orders the Doctor and Jo to be taken away for interrogation and torture.

Back in the jungle, Rebec and her team encounter a group of invisible, humanoid creatures called Spiridons. The Spiridons are friendly, and they give the Thals some much-needed help. They give the Thals some devices that allow them to see the Daleks' invisible force field, which will help them get into the Daleks' base undetected.

The Doctor and Jo manage to escape from their Dalek captors and make their way to a room containing the Daleks' communication system. The Doctor uses his technical expertise to override the system and send a message to the Thals, instructing them on how to disable the force field and attack the Daleks.

The Thals, led by Rebec, launch their attack on the Daleks' base. They manage to destroy the force field generator and, with the help of the Spiridons, infiltrate the base. The Doctor and Jo rejoin the Thals and lead them to the Dalek Supreme's chamber. A fierce battle ensues, as the Thals and the Daleks engage in hand-to-hand combat. The Doctor sabotages the Dalek Supreme's life support system, causing it to explode, killing the Dalek and all of its minions.

With the Daleks defeated, the Doctor and Jo bid farewell to the Thals and head back to the TARDIS. As they take off, Jo tells the Doctor that she is grateful for their adventures together, but she is ready to move on with her life. The Doctor agrees, and they set a course for Earth.
