Ep 4. Lost in the Supermarket

Clarence season 1 episode 4, named Lost in the Supermarket, follows Clarence and his two best friends, Jeff and Sumo, as they wander through a supermarket, looking for Clarence's mom. Clarence, an overly enthusiastic and curious 8-year-old, gets separated from the group after he starts exploring the supermarket. He follows his instincts and ends up in the toy section, where he gets excited and starts playing with the toys on display.

Meanwhile, Jeff and Sumo are getting impatient waiting for Clarence and decide to go look for him themselves. They search through the supermarket, but they are unable to find him. Jeff and Sumo decide to split up and search every section of the supermarket to increase their chances of finding Clarence.

In the toy section, Clarence gets carried away with playing with the toys and forgets about his mom. When he eventually realizes that he has been gone for too long, he panics and starts looking for his friends. He walks around the supermarket, trying to find them, but has no luck.

Jeff and Sumo continue their search and end up in the frozen food section. While they are there, they decide to take a break and get some ice cream. As they are enjoying their ice cream, they hear Clarence's distinctive laugh coming from the distance. They follow the sound and eventually find Clarence in the stuffed animal section. Clarence is relieved to see his friends and tells them all about the fun he had playing with the toys.

After catching their breath, the three friends decide to continue looking for Clarence's mom. They eventually find her at the cash register. Clarence's mom is relieved to see them and thanks Jeff and Sumo for helping her find her son. Clarence's mom then treats the three friends to ice cream as a thank you.

In the end, Clarence, Jeff, and Sumo leave the supermarket satisfied with the adventure they had. Clarence learned that it's important to stick with his friends and not get lost in his own fun. Jeff and Sumo learned that they have each other's back and that together they can overcome any obstacle. It's a heartwarming episode that teaches the values of friendship, loyalty, and looking out for each other.
