In the twenty-first episode of season one of Clarence, titled "The Forgotten," the eponymous character Clarence is left feeling neglected and unappreciated when his teacher, Ms. Baker, seems to forget about him and his achievements.
The episode begins with Clarence excitedly showing off his latest school project, a diorama depicting a prehistoric dinosaur scene, to Ms. Baker. However, she seems distracted and barely acknowledges his hard work.
Feeling upset and ignored, Clarence confides in his friends Jeff and Sumo, who try to reassure him that Ms. Baker just has a lot on her mind. But the next day, Clarence discovers that Ms. Baker has completely forgotten to send in his project to the school's art show, where he had hoped to win a prize.
Determined to show Ms. Baker the error of her ways and prove himself to his classmates, Clarence sets out to create a new project from scratch in just one day. With the help of his friends, he creates a stunning paper-mache sculpture of a giant squid, which he presents to Ms. Baker on the day of the art show.
Despite his hard work and dedication, Clarence is disappointed to find out that the squid did not win first prize. However, Ms. Baker surprises him by awarding him a special ribbon for creativity and determination, acknowledging his efforts and making him feel once again like an important member of the school community.
In "The Forgotten," Clarence learns a valuable lesson about the importance of persistence and hard work, even in the face of adversity. Through his dedication and creativity, he inspires those around him and earns the recognition he deserves, reminding us all to never give up on our dreams.
