Tomoya and Nagisa are still working on the theatre club project, but the rest of the members have yet to show up. Suddenly, a group of girls burst in, all curious about the club. They introduce themselves as the choir club who usually practice in the same room as the theatre club. Their leader, Yukine, seems to have taken an instant liking to Tomoya, much to Nagisa's jealousy.
Yukine decides to stick around and watch the theatre club practice, and the rest of her club decides to do the same. Nagisa suggests that they should all work together on a play, but Tomoya is hesitant. He doesn't think they have the time to put together a show before the cultural festival.
Despite Tomoya's reluctance, the choir members begin to help with the theatre club's project. Each of the girls bring their own unique talents to the table, and it becomes clear that they are all passionate about the arts. Meanwhile, Nagisa continues to feel insecure about Tomoya and Yukine's budding friendship.
As the group spends more time together, they begin to bond over their shared love of performing. The choir members even teach Tomoya and Nagisa a special song, which they perform together after practice. For the first time in a while, Nagisa seems genuinely happy.
Just as everything seems to be going well, disaster strikes. The theatre club's set is accidentally destroyed, and they're left with nothing to show at the cultural festival. Nagisa is devastated, but Tomoya remains calm. He tells her that they'll find a way to make it work, and he sets the group to brainstorming new ideas.
In the end, they decide to perform a traditional Japanese play, borrowing costumes and props from another school. It's a risky move, but the group is determined to make it work. They spend long nights practicing and perfecting their roles, and their hard work pays off.
On the day of the festival, the theatre club takes the stage. Nagisa and Tomoya are nervous, but as soon as the play begins, they're swept up in the story. The audience is captivated, and as the final curtain falls, they erupt in applause.
The theatre club is overjoyed, and Nagisa finally feels like she's found her place. Even Yukine seems happy for them, and she congratulates Tomoya on a job well done. As the group sets off to enjoy the rest of the festival, Nagisa takes Tomoya's hand, grateful for everything he's done for her.
The episode ends with a sense of hope and possibility, as the group celebrates their success and looks toward the future. For Nagisa, it's a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there's always a chance for something good to happen.
