The rest of the episode shows Ryo and Ai trying to uncover the truth behind the attackers. They visit a nightclub where Ai used to work and speak to one of her former colleagues, who reveals that Ai was fired for rejecting the advances of a wealthy customer. Ryo suspects that this customer has something to do with the attacks, and he sets his sights on finding out who he is.
The episode ends with Ryo and Ai being ambushed by the attackers at the nightclub. Ryo is severely injured and the attackers manage to take Ai captive. The last scene shows Ryo vowing to rescue Ai and bring her attackers to justice.
