Mr Khan’s Christmas Wonderland is the seventh episode of season 4 of the popular BBC One comedy show Citizen Khan. The episode follows the Khan family as they prepare for the upcoming Christmas celebrations, something which is not usually a part of their culture.

Mr Khan, the head of the family, is determined to create the perfect Christmas experience for everyone, particularly for his wife, who is feeling homesick during the festive season. He has the idea to turn his house into a Christmas wonderland with the help of his friend Amjad, who is known for his love for decoration.

However, the preparations do not go smoothly. Mr Khan's sister-in-law, Rani, who is known for her grumpiness, arrives with her husband for the holidays and is not impressed with Mr Khan's extravagant plans. To make things worse, the family's food blender breaks down and Mr Khan has to make an emergency trip to the shops to get a replacement.

While shopping, Mr Khan runs into his arch-nemesis Dave, a local businessman who also happens to be a huge Christmas enthusiast. Dave has decorated his shop in a grander way than Mr Khan's plans, and the competition to see who will have the best Christmas display begins.

The Khans' house is transformed into a tacky Christmas grotto, complete with an inflatable Santa Claus, fake snow and a life-sized nativity scene. However, not everyone is happy with the decorations. Mrs Khan's mother, Naani, is unhappy that her Hindu gods have been replaced with Christmas decorations. Meanwhile, Rani's husband struggles to cope with the cold weather.

As Christmas day approaches, tensions rise between Mr Khan and Dave. It seems as though Dave is going to win the competition when he unveils a new animatronic display, but Mr Khan has a surprise up his sleeve, which may just clinch him the victory.

Overall, Mr Khan's Christmas Wonderland is a fun-filled episode full of festive cheer and family squabbles. It highlights the cultural differences in the UK during the holiday season and the lengths some people will go to in order to create a memorable Christmas experience.
