Just when it seems like all hope is lost, Chowder has a sudden revelation. He remembers that Mung has a favorite sound that always wakes him up - the sound of an oven timer ringing. Chowder rushes to the kitchen and sets off the timer, and sure enough, Mung immediately wakes up.
Relieved and overjoyed, Chowder thanks his friends for their help and celebrates with a big feast. As the episode comes to a close, Mung muses about the strange dream he just had, and Chowder and his friends bask in the glow of a successful mission.
