The episode "Chii, Runs Away" from season 1 of the anime series Chi's Sweet Home follows the adventurous kitten Chi as she wanders away from her home and finds herself lost in the city. Meanwhile, Chi's family is frantically searching for her, putting up posters and asking around to see if anyone has seen the little kitty. As they search, they reflect on how much Chi means to them and how much they miss her, leading to emotional moments as they fear they may never find her.
