After the successful conclusion of the Great 5K Star Race in the previous episode, Jon and Ponch are back on duty and on the streets, working to keep the city of Los Angeles safe. However, things take an unexpected turn when they receive a call from the location where the race was held- the Boulder Dam.
Apparently, a group of reckless bikers have taken over the dam, causing trouble and endangering the lives of innocent tourists. Jon and Ponch immediately rush to the scene to take control of the situation, but the bikers prove to be quite the challenge.
In the midst of the chaos, Jon and Ponch team up with the race winners, who happen to be present at the scene, to take down the bikers and restore peace to the dam. The race participants prove to be skilled in combat, and the bikers are no match for their combined efforts.
With the situation under control, Jon, Ponch and the race winners celebrate their victory at the Boulder Wrap Party, which is also the second part of the title of the episode. The wrap party goes on late into the night, with music and dancing filling the air.
However, the party is interrupted when a group of thieves break into the party, targeting the valuable prizes that were awarded to the race winners earlier in the day. Jon and Ponch, along with the race winners, once again team up to take down the thieves and save the day.
As the episode comes to a close, Jon and Ponch reflect on the events of the day, grateful for the new friends they have made through the race. They also express their admiration for the bravery and skill of the race winners, who proved to be valuable allies in the fight against crime.
Overall, The Great 5K Star Race and Boulder Wrap Party (2) is an action-packed episode filled with excitement, adventure, and unexpected twists and turns. Viewers will be on the edge of their seats as Jon, Ponch and the race winners battle it out to protect the city and come out victorious.
