Ep 16. The Other Side

In Chicago PD season 8 episode 16, titled "The Other Side," tensions rise between the Chicago Police Department and the community as they investigate a racially charged case. The team is called to the scene of a shooting that claimed the life of a young Black man. While searching for the shooter, they discover that the victim had ties to a drug cartel that has been causing trouble in the neighborhood.

As the investigation progresses, the team realizes that they may have been too quick to jump to conclusions about the shooting. With the help of some new witnesses, they uncover a web of corruption within the drug cartel that extends all the way up to the city's political elite. As they dig deeper into the case, they begin to fear for their own safety.

Meanwhile, Detective Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins) continues to struggle with his decision to side with the Black community in the wake of George Floyd's murder. His loyalty is tested when he is asked to testify against a fellow cop who has been accused of excessive force.

With tensions running high on both sides of the law, the team must work quickly to bring the real perpetrators to justice and restore peace to the community. Can they rise above the politics and corruption to do what's right? Find out in Chicago PD season 8 episode 16, "The Other Side."
