Ep 1. Fighting Ghosts

In the first episode of Chicago PD season 8, titled "Fighting Ghosts," the team at the Intelligence Unit is grappling with the departure of one of their own. After Detective Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) decides to take a job with the FBI in New York, her former colleagues are left to pick up the pieces and move forward without her.

Meanwhile, Sergeant Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) is dealing with his own issues. Haunted by memories of his past, he is struggling to keep his demons at bay and maintain his reputation as a tough but fair leader. As the investigation into the 63rd Street Mob heats up, he must balance his personal demons with his duty to protect the citizens of Chicago.

As tensions rise and the stakes get higher, the team must band together to take down the 63rd Street Mob and protect their city from the forces of evil. But with a mole in their midst and Voight's own personal struggles threatening to tear them apart, they will have to fight harder than ever before to prevail.

Overall, "Fighting Ghosts" is a tense and action-packed episode that sets the stage for what promises to be an exciting and dramatic season.
