Ep 14. Center Mass

Back at the hospital, Atwater's surgery is successful and he makes a slow but steady recovery. Rojas and the team visit him regularly to offer their support. Officer Adam Ruzek (played by Patrick John Flueger) takes a bigger role in the investigation and is determined to bring down El Pulpo once and for all. With the help of his team, Ruzek tracks down one of El Pulpo's main associates, but he proves to be a tough nut to crack.

As the investigation intensifies, tensions rise between the members of the Intelligence Unit. Ruzek's aggressive tactics start to worry some of his colleagues, including Sergeant Hank Voight (played by Jason Beghe), who warns him to calm down. Upton and Burgess also have their own differences, as Upton pushes Burgess to step out of her comfort zone and take more risks.

In the end, the team manages to catch El Pulpo's right-hand man and close in on the drug lord himself. They launch an operation to arrest him but quickly find themselves in a dangerous situation. As they fight for their lives, the team realizes that they must rely on each other more than ever before if they want to make it out alive.

"Center Mass" is a gripping episode that showcases the intensity and courage of the members of the Chicago PD's Intelligence Unit. The show's strong writing and talented cast combine to create an emotional and action-packed episode that will leave viewers on the edge of their seats.
