Ep 13. Sammy and the Professor

In Cheers season 8 episode 13, titled "Sammy and the Professor," Sam meets an attractive woman at a museum exhibit and is immediately smitten with her. However, things take a turn when he finds out that she's a college professor and he feels inadequate about his own education.

Meanwhile, Carla is excited to be selected for a TV game show, but she's disappointed when she learns that the prize is a year's worth of canned goods. She decides to cheat her way to the top but ends up getting caught and is publicly embarrassed.

Elsewhere, Cliff and Norm are on a mission to find the best burger joint in Boston and drag the rest of the gang along for the ride. They try out a few places and argue over which burger is the best, but eventually realize that the real fun was in getting to hang out together.

As always, the regulars at Cheers provide plenty of laughs and witty bar banter as they navigate their various predicaments. The episode is a lighthearted and enjoyable installment in the long-running sitcom.
