In season 7 episode 8 of Cheers, titled "Jumping Jerks," tensions rise between the bar regulars when a group of gym rats, led by an obnoxious loudmouth named Phil, start hogging the pool table and flirting with the female customers. Sam and Woody try to confront Phil, but it only makes matters worse as the muscle-bound jerks continue to dominate the bar with their crude behavior. Meanwhile, Carla is dealing with her own set of problems as she struggles to cope with the news that her ex-husband is getting remarried. Her friends try to cheer her up, but Carla can't help feeling like a failure in love. Things come to a head when one of the gym rats challenges Cliff to a game of pool, and the stakes are higher than anyone could have imagined. Will the Cheers gang be able to hold their own against these jumping jerks, or will they be forced to concede defeat? This hilarious and heartwarming episode showcases the best of Cheers, with witty dialogue, memorable characters, and plenty of laughs. Fans of the show won't want to miss this one!
