Ep 3. Executive Sweet (1)

In Cheers season 7 episode 3, titled "Executive Sweet (1)," the beloved Boston bar tries to attract a new clientele: the corporate crowd. When a handsome executive named Jeffrey enters the bar, Sam sees an opportunity to elevate the bar's reputation and starts offering him VIP treatment.

However, things get complicated when Jeffrey takes an interest in Rebecca and asks her out on a date. Although she initially refuses, Sam convinces her to go in hopes of impressing Jeffrey and winning his business. Meanwhile, Carla has her sights set on the charming executive as well and engages in some competitive flirting with Rebecca.

As the date approaches, Rebecca becomes nervous and seeks advice from her coworkers. Woody suggests dressing provocatively, and Norm suggests feigning interest in Jeffrey's hobbies. However, both suggestions prove disastrous, and the date ends in disaster.

Despite the poor outcome, Jeffrey is still interested in doing business with Cheers. However, Sam knows that Carla is the one who truly won Jeffrey over and asks her to seal the deal.

The episode ends with the gang reflecting on how corporate success may change the bar's atmosphere and wondering if the executive crowd is truly worth pursuing.
