In Cheers season 7 episode 15, titled "Don't Paint Your Chickens," the gang at the Boston bar is up to their usual shenanigans as they try to navigate their complex personal lives. This episode primarily focuses on Rebecca, the bar manager, and her attempts to impress her snooty high society circles by throwing a lavish party.

Rebecca's party planning starts off rocky, with an argument with Sam, the bar's owner and former lover, over the guest list. Sam is convinced that Rebecca's high society friends will snub the Cheers regulars, and he is certain that the party will be a disaster. Despite Rebecca's protestations, Sam manages to convince her to invite the regulars, who are thrilled at the opportunity to attend an upscale affair.

As the party approaches, Rebecca becomes increasingly stressed out. She enlists the help of Woody, the naive bartender, to oversee the catering, and she hires a decorator to transform the bar into a swanky nightclub. However, Rebecca's plans are derailed when she discovers that the decorator has painted a mural of chickens on the bar wall. Shocked and horrified, Rebecca demands that the mural be removed, but the decorator insists that it is a work of art and cannot be erased.

As the night of the party arrives, tensions are high at Cheers. The regulars are dressed to the nines, and Rebecca is practically beside herself with anxiety. When the high society guests begin to arrive, Rebecca is relieved that they seem impressed with the transformation of the bar. However, things take a turn for the worse when one of the guests spots the chicken mural.

To Rebecca's horror, the snooty partygoers begin to ridicule and mock the mural, calling it tacky and tasteless. Rebecca is desperate to salvage the party and save face, so she asks Woody to come up with a creative solution to get rid of the mural. Woody, ever eager to help, suggests that they paint over the mural with a new work of art.

In a chaotic flurry, Woody sets to work painting a new mural over the chickens. But with the party guests getting increasingly rowdy and the deadline to impress them approaching, Rebecca is forced to take matters into her own hands. In a bold move, she ditches her party dress and climbs up a ladder to paint the mural herself.

As the regulars look on in amazement, Rebecca begins to paint a beautiful and intricate scene on the wall. The high society guests are initially baffled by the sudden change in proceedings, but as they watch Rebecca work, they start to appreciate the beauty of what she is creating. In the end, the mural is a hit, and the party is a success.

While "Don't Paint Your Chickens" may not be the most memorable episode of Cheers, it's a charming and lighthearted entry in the show's vast catalogue. Watching Rebecca navigate the pitfalls of high society, with the help of her quirky bar regulars, is a delightful reminder of why this sitcom was one of the most beloved shows of its time.
