Ep 18. One Last Fling

One Last Fling is the 18th episode of the fifth season of the classic sitcom Cheers. The show takes place at the Cheers bar in Boston and centers around the lives and relationships of its quirky and lovable patrons and staff.

Meanwhile, Rebecca is torn between her desire to avoid any further involvement with Robin and her nagging curiosity about what might have been if they had stayed together. She confides in the bar's resident therapist, Dr. Frasier Crane, who advises her to think carefully before making any decisions that could have lasting consequences.

As the night wears on, Sam's attempts to attract a young woman at the nightclub become increasingly desperate and pathetic. He quickly realizes that he's not the young stud he used to be and returns to Cheers feeling humiliated. Rebecca, on the other hand, decides to meet up with Robin at his hotel room, but the encounter doesn't go quite as planned.

Throughout the episode, the rest of the Cheers gang provides plenty of comic relief with their own antics and romantic entanglements. Carla, the wisecracking waitress, becomes involved in a feud with her ex-husband's new girlfriend, while Woody tries to help her son reconcile with his estranged father. Norm, the lovable regular who's always looking for a free beer, gets caught up in a scheme to sell a bar stool with Babe Ruth's autograph on it.
