Norm Peterson (George Wendt), a regular at the bar, provides comic relief with his witty one-liners and love for beer. Cliff Clavin (John Ratzenberger), another regular, shares his useless facts and trivia, which never fail to elicit a groan or a laugh.

Through it all, Cheers remains a place of comfort and familiarity for the characters. As the episode ends, Sam begins to find his footing again and the Cheers crew seems ready to take on whatever life throws their way.
