Ep 21. I'll Be Seeing You (1)

After a long day of work, Diane is excited to finally spend a romantic evening with Sam. However, her excitement is cut short when her ex-fiancé, Sumner Sloan, walks into the bar. Diane is initially hesitant to speak to him, but eventually agrees to have dinner with him, believing that he has changed his ways.

Meanwhile, Carla is dealing with her own personal drama as she learns that her ex-husband is getting remarried. She is determined to find a better man than him, but the only eligible bachelor at Cheers happens to be Cliff.

As the night goes on, tensions rise between Diane and Sam as Sumner gets more and more involved in their evening. Sam becomes increasingly jealous and Diane becomes more conflicted about her feelings for Sumner.

Carla's attempts to set Cliff up with a woman backfire and she ends up taking matters into her own hands.

As the night comes to a close, everyone's relationships are left hanging in the balance. Will Diane choose her past with Sumner or her future with Sam? Will Carla find love with Cliff or end up alone? The answers to these questions will have to wait until the next episode.
