As the name suggests, 'Chasing Classic Cars' is a show about vintage and classic automobiles and the intricate process behind discovering and restoring them. In this episode, titled 'Chevy', host Wayne Carini takes us on another exciting journey through the world of timeless cars.

The episode kicks off with Wayne visiting a Chevrolet fanatic, who has not one, but two stunning Chevy Bel Airs, one a convertible and the other a hardtop. Despite their near-perfect condition, Wayne manages to find some minor flaws and takes them both for a test drive. The test drive proves to be successful as Wayne offers the owner some practical advice on how to sell them for top dollar.

Next up, Wayne gives us an inside look at one of the most prestigious automobile auctions in Scottsdale, Arizona. Here we see a wide range of classic and vintage cars being sold for astronomical prices, a true car lover's paradise. Wayne meets up with a few of the auction-goers, including one of its founders, and takes us through some of the highlights of the event, including a rare 427 Cobra, a classic Porsche 356, and a Ferrari Daytona Spyder, all of which sell for jaw-dropping amounts.

But it's not all about the big names and the high-end auctions. Wayne then takes us to a small town in Maine where he meets up with a car collector who has a wide range of classics, including a 1960 Chevrolet Corvette. The Corvette, a car with a legendary name and heritage, is in need of some serious work, and Wayne and his team get to work on it. We see the meticulous process of restoring the car, including the engine and the body panels, as well as the finishing touches that make it look as good as new.

Finally, Wayne visits an owner who has a unique car that would stand out even at a classic car show. The car is a custom-built 1953 Chevrolet, made to look like a 1932 Ford. It's a one-of-a-kind car, with a custom frame and a completely reconstructed body. Wayne takes us through the process of restoring this unique car, working with custom builders to bring it back to its former glory.

Overall, this episode of 'Chasing Classic Cars' is a joyride for vintage car enthusiasts. From the high-end auctions to the small town restorations, it showcases the love and passion that goes into restoring these iconic vehicles. With Wayne Carini at the helm, this show proves that classic cars are not just a bunch of old metal and chrome, but instead a work of art that deserves respect and admiration.
