Charlie and Lola is a children's animated series that follows the adventures of a brother and sister duo, Charlie and Lola. In season 3 episode 3, titled "I Slightly Want to Go Home", Lola is excited to spend the night at her friend Lotta's house, but as the evening wears on, she starts to feel homesick and wants to go home.

The episode starts with Lola eagerly getting ready for her sleepover at Lotta's house. She packs everything she thinks she'll need and heads over to Lotta's house with Charlie and Marv, who are also invited to the sleepover. Once they arrive, the girls have a great time playing dress-up and having a tea party. The boys try to join in, but they're quickly shooed away by the girls.

As the night goes on, Lola starts to feel homesick. She misses her own bed, her own toys, and most of all, her mom and dad. She tries not to show it, but Charlie notices that something's wrong and asks her what's going on. Lola tells him that she's feeling a little bit homesick, but she doesn't want to ruin the sleepover for everyone else.

Charlie suggests that they call their mom and dad to say goodnight, just like they do when they're at home. Lola likes this idea and asks Lotta's parents if they can use the phone. They say yes, and Lola talks to her parents, who tell her that they miss her too and that they'll see her in the morning. Lola feels much better after talking to her parents, and she's able to enjoy the rest of the sleepover with her friends.

The episode ends with Lola and her friends falling asleep, surrounded by all the toys and blankets they've gathered for the sleepover. Lola looks content and happy, glad that she stayed at Lotta's house for the night.
