Ep 21. A Job From Heck

Charles asks Gwendolyn to marry him and she explains that Richard asked her first. She leaves to make her decision. Lillian asks Charles if Gwendolyn has given him an answer and assures him if she is 'his' -- he won't lose her. Buddy arrives at the house to talk with Charles and Gwendolyn enters announcing she will marry Charles. Buddy is devastated. The next day, Charles wants to set a date and talk with her parents, yet Gwendolyn tells him she does not want to rush the situation, especially since her parents think she is marrying Richard next month.
