The class is out on orienteering. In Nonoka's group are Koharu, Yuzuki and Shione. Yuzuki, competitive as ever, is a little isolated from the rest. Nonoka tries to make friends with Shione, with little success. Koharu consoles her, and tries to find out why Shione is so cold to her.

Nonoka is confused about Nonoka, who looks just like a girl she'd met seven years earlier. On her way to school, she meets with her friend, Shiihara Koharu, who happens to be in her class. She also meets Togawa Shione, who has some harsh words for her.
