Ep 1. Abbott Elementary vs. Hacks and Kal Penn vs. Erika Christensen

In the season 8 premiere of Celebrity Family Feud, viewers are treated to an exciting matchup between two sets of popular TV show casts. On one side, we have the cast of Abbott Elementary, a new comedy series set in an inner-city public school, going up against the cast of Hacks, a show about a Las Vegas comedian and a writer who team up to revitalize the former's career.

The Abbott Elementary team consists of five cast members: Quinta Brunson, Tyler James Williams, Janelle James, Chris Perfetti, and Sheryl Lee Ralph. With their quick wit and comedic timing, they are sure to give the other team a run for their money. The Hacks team also brings their A-game, featuring five cast members: Jean Smart, Hannah Einbinder, Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Kaitlin Olson, and Christopher McDonald.

But the competition isn't just limited to these two teams. In a second round, Kal Penn, known for his roles in shows like House and Designated Survivor, plays against Erika Christensen, best known for her roles in Parenthood and Swimfan. Both are highly competitive and ready to face any challenges that come their way.

As always, host Steve Harvey keeps the show moving along with his signature humor and teasing banter with the contestants. From silly answers to dramatic moments, viewers are in for a wild ride as the celebrities battle it out for charity.

The game is set up in three rounds, each with increasingly difficult questions. In round one, each team starts with a face-off question, with the contestant who answers correctly getting to choose whether to play or pass. From there, teams take turns answering survey questions, with the goal of getting the most popular answer to earn points.

In round two, called "Fast Money," two members from each team compete head-to-head to answer five survey questions as quickly as possible. The team with the highest score at the end of this round goes on to the third and final round, "The Feud," where the remaining contestants play a sudden-death version of the game to see who comes out on top.
