Zoe Ball and Iain Waite take the wheel in Celebrity Antiques Road Trip season 6 episode 6. The duo sets off on a journey in a classic car across the south coast of England in search of hidden treasures.
Their first stop is in Brighton, where they meet with antiques expert Catherine Southon. They are both excited to find out what secrets lie ahead as they make their way through the eclectic mix of antique shops and markets in the city.
Next, Zoe and Iain head towards their next destination in Chichester, and stop at a farm along the way. Here they are greeted by farmer Andrew, who shows them his impressive collection of vintage tractors and farming equipment. It’s a unique experience for both of them, as they get up close and personal with some of the oldest machines from a bygone era.
Their next stop on the journey is an antiques fair in Worthing. It’s a treasure trove of hidden gems, and they’re both on the lookout for something special. With so many stalls to choose from, they take their time browsing through each one, hoping to find something that will fetch a good price at auction.
They then drive to Petworth, where they visit a magnificent 17th-century country house. Here they meet with historian David Starkey, who takes them on a tour of the house and enlightens them about the country's history. It's a chance for both of them to learn more about the fascinating past of this grand old home.
Their last stop before the auction is in Arundel, where they check out an antiques shop before settling in for a spot of lunch. As they sit down to eat, they reflect on their journey so far and discuss the items they’ve picked up along the way.
The grand auction is held at a famous auction house in Chichester, and tensions are high as Zoe and Iain see their items go under the hammer. The bidding starts slowly but builds up to a frenzied pace, with unexpected twists and turns along the way.
