Aubri & Brian is the 26th episode of the seventh season of the popular reality TV series Catfish. In this episode, Nev Schulman and his co-host Kamie Crawford are contacted by a young woman named Aubri, who is worried that her online boyfriend Brian may not be who he says he is.
According to Aubri, she met Brian on a dating app less than two months ago, and they hit it off immediately. Despite the fact that they live in different states, they text and talk on the phone every day, and talk about meeting up in person as soon as possible.
As the relationship progresses, however, Aubri begins to notice some inconsistencies in Brian's stories. He is often unavailable or unreachable, and he seems to have a lot of excuses for why they can't video chat or talk on the phone. When she asks him for more information about his life and his background, he becomes defensive and evasive.
Feeling frustrated and confused, Aubri turns to Nev and Kamie for help. They agree to investigate Brian's identity and try to get to the bottom of his mysterious behavior.
As they dig deeper into Brian's online profiles and social media accounts, Nev and Kamie start to uncover some troubling information. They discover that Brian has been using fake pictures and aliases to hide his true identity, and that he has a history of catfishing and scamming other women online.
Despite these revelations, Aubri is still hesitant to give up on her relationship with Brian. She feels that she has a deep emotional connection with him, and she is reluctant to believe that he could be deliberately deceiving her.
Nev and Kamie try to approach the situation delicately, but they are ultimately forced to confront Brian and reveal his true identity to Aubri. The resulting confrontation is emotional and intense, as Aubri struggles to come to terms with the fact that her relationship was based on lies and deception.
In the end, Aubri is able to move on from her relationship with Brian and start the process of healing. While the experience was painful and difficult, she feels grateful for the support of Nev, Kamie, and the Catfish team, and hopeful that she will one day find love with someone who is honest and genuine.
