In episode 9 of season 5 of Catfish: The TV Show, we meet Tyreme, a 20-year-old college student from Virginia who has been in an online relationship with Tomorrow for three years. The two have never met in person, but Tyreme is convinced that Tomorrow is the love of his life and is ready to take their online relationship to the next level.
Tyreme's friends are concerned that he is being Catfished, especially since Tomorrow has constantly come up with excuses for not meeting in person. Tyreme has tried to video chat with her, but she always claims that she doesn't have a proper camera or microphone.
Nev and Max step in to help Tyreme find out the truth about Tomorrow. They start by scouring the internet for clues but are unable to find any social media profiles or other information about her. Nev and Max decide to track down Tomorrow's phone number and are able to get her on the line after multiple attempts.
Tomorrow claims to be a 22-year-old college student from North Carolina, but Nev and Max are skeptical about her identity. They ask her to video chat with them, but Tomorrow refuses and says that she doesn't trust them.
Nev and Max then reach out to Tomorrow's best friend, who claims to have never met her in person but has been friends with her for years through social media. The friend agrees to meet with Nev and Max, and they discover that Tomorrow's friend is actually a 16-year-old boy who has been pretending to be her to get attention from guys online.
Nev and Max break the news to Tyreme, who is devastated, but relieved to finally know the truth. He decides to confront Tomorrow's catfisher and tell him how much his actions have hurt him.
In the end, Tyreme learns a valuable lesson about the dangers of online relationships and the importance of meeting someone in person before committing to a relationship.
