

In Carnival Row season 1 episode 6 "Unaccompanied Fae," tensions continue to rise between the humans and the fae as a group of unaccompanied fae children arrive on Carnival Row seeking refuge from their war-torn homeland. Senior Constable Philo returns from his trip to the fae lands and is shocked to see the situation has escalated since his departure. Meanwhile, political tensions rise between the human Chancellor and the fae Queen as they both try to protect their own interests and gain power. And in the midst of it all, a gruesome murder takes place, leading Philo to investigate and uncover a web of secrets and lies that will shock both humans and fae alike.
As the episode unfolds, it becomes clear that the fae children are not the only ones who need protection, and that the past traumas and prejudices of both sides are continuing to fuel the conflict.
