In Carnival Row season 1 episode 3, titled "Kingdoms of the Moon," tensions continue to rise between the fae and human communities in the city of Burgue. The episode begins with a violent attack on a group of faeries, leaving one of them dead. As tensions mount, the show also explores the lives of other characters living in the city. A wealthy family is introduced, who seem to be involved in some mysterious and dangerous business dealings.
Overall, "Kingdoms of the Moon" is a tense and intense episode that sets up many of the conflicts and mysteries that will continue to unfold throughout the rest of the season. It's a dark and dramatic fantasy world, and the show does a great job of immersing us in its complex and layered storytelling.
