On Carnival Eats season 5, episode 25 titled "Campfire Creations", the show takes us on a delicious journey through some of the most mouth-watering and innovative culinary creations made at carnivals and fairs. Next, we move on to the Arizona State Fair, where the focus is on chili. We see vendors cook up some of the most innovative and tasty chili dishes in the country, and get to sample them with Noah. The standout dish in Arizona is the Green Chile Mac And Cheese, which is topped with Green Chile Pork and Queso sauce. Cappe also samples some amazing chili cheese fries and some delicious red chili burritos.
In Iowa, we get to see some classic campfire-inspired dishes, like the Frisbee Dog, which is a hot dog wrapped in bacon and topped with mac and cheese, and the Beer Cheese Funnel Cake, which is made with beer cheese and savory funnel cakes. There are also some more unusual dishes like the Hungarian Chimney Cake, which is made with a spiral of cinnamon and sugar and topped with cream and fruit, and the Baconlicious Duck Fries, which are topped with crispy duck confit, bacon, cheese sauce, jalapenos, and green onions.
Finally, we head to Texas, where we get to see some of the craziest and most innovative carnival food around. Here, Cappe samples some amazing new inventions, including the Huevos Rancheros Corn Dog, which is a corn dog filled with scrambled eggs, chorizo, cheese, and salsa, and topped with avocado, bacon, and sour cream. There's also the Brisket Cone, which is a waffle cone filled with brisket, coleslaw, and barbecue sauce, and the Texas S'Mores Mac And Cheese, which is mac and cheese with chocolate chips, marshmallow, and graham crackers baked on top.
