Ep 4. Meat, Pray, Love

In season 4 episode 4 of Carnival Eats, titled Meat, Pray, Love, host Noah Cappe travels to the Iowa State Fair to indulge in some of the most unique meat dishes the fair has to offer.

First, Noah tries a dish called the "Big Pickle Dog," which is a hot dog stuffed inside a giant pickle and deep-fried to perfection. He then moves on to try the "Smokey Duroc Pork Loin" sandwich, which is a juicy, smoked pork loin topped with homemade coleslaw and barbecue sauce.

Noah also gets introduced to a dish called the "Manwich," which is a chicken schnitzel topped with bacon and cheese and smothered in gravy, served on a fresh roll. After that, he tries the "Walking Bacon," which is a delicious combination of bacon-wrapped potatoes, onions, and jalapeños, all skewered and grilled to perfection.

The highlight of the episode, however, is the "Iowa Beer Brat Burger," which is a juicy, beer-soaked bratwurst patty topped with bacon and cheese and served on a pretzel bun. Noah also tries the "Ultimate Bacon Explosion," which is a bacon-wrapped sausage stuffed with mac and cheese and then deep-fried and topped with even more cheese.

Throughout the episode, Noah also learns about the farmers and the local community that come together to make the Iowa State Fair such a special event. Whether it's indulging in unique meat dishes or learning about the agricultural traditions of the area, this episode of Carnival Eats will leave viewers craving some delicious meat dishes and with a newfound appreciation for the spirit of the state fair.
