Ep 4. From Small Town to Farmville

From Small Town to Farmville is the fourth episode of Carnival Eats Season 2, and it takes viewers on a journey across America to explore some of the most delicious and unique carnival foods found in small towns and farms. Host Noah Cappe travels to different locations, where he meets with local food artisans and festival organizers to learn about the ingredients and techniques used to create their signature dishes.

Next, Noah heads to West Virginia, where he visits the state fair to witness some of the most outrageous food creations, such as deep-fried mac and cheese, giant turkey legs, and corn dogs the size of baseball bats. He also visits a small town called Morton, where he attends the annual Pumpkin Festival and samples some of the most delicious pumpkin-flavored treats, such as pumpkin chili, pumpkin ice cream, and even pumpkin funnel cake.

Noah's next stop is Greenville, South Carolina, where he gets a taste of the country's best BBQ ribs and brisket at the Upstate BBQ Bash. He then heads to the Strawberry Festival in Oxnard, California, to try some of the most mouth-watering strawberry-themed desserts, such as strawberry crepes, strawberry shortcake, and strawberry pizza.

Finally, Noah travels to Farmville, Virginia, where he attends the Heart of Virginia Festival and witnesses some of the most creative and delicious carnival foods he has ever seen. He tries a deep-fried BLT sandwich, a smoked turkey leg, and a giant paella dish filled with shrimp and chorizo. He also meets with the organizers of the festival, who reveal how they come up with new and exciting food ideas that attract visitors from all over the state.

Throughout the episode, Noah showcases his love for unique and delicious food, as well as his genuine interest in the stories and traditions behind each dish. He interacts with locals, food vendors, and festival organizers, learning as much as he can about the culinary world of carnival eats.
