In the sixth episode of Carnival Eats season 1, host Noah Cappe heads to two fairs in the United States - the California State Fair and the North East Fair. The episode begins with Noah traveling to the California State Fair in Sacramento. He wastes no time in getting on the rides and tasting the food. First up on his list is the Grandma's Chicken, which is said to be a favorite of Governor Jerry Brown. Noah finds out why it's so popular when he bites into the deep-fried chicken strips. He then heads over to the Bacon-wrapped Pork Belly, which he describes as "a true masterpiece". The pork belly is wrapped in bacon, smoked, and served with a side of homemade barbecue sauce.

Noah also gets to taste the Fruity Pebbles Funnel Cake, which is made with the beloved breakfast cereal and topped with whipped cream and strawberry sauce. He also gets his fair share of savory dishes at the California State Fair, including the Alligator on a Stick, which is marinated in Cajun spices and grilled to perfection. Noah also tries the famous Cinnamon Roll Sundae, which is a giant cinnamon roll smothered in ice cream and caramel sauce.

After enjoying the California State Fair, Noah makes his way to the North East Fair in Springfield, Massachusetts. He starts off at Hoffman's Super Franks, where he tries a bacon-wrapped hot dog topped with mac and cheese. He then heads over to the Fried Dough Stand to try the Strawberry Shortcake Fried Dough, which is a twist on the classic dessert. The fried dough is topped with strawberries, whipped cream, and powdered sugar.

Noah also gets to taste the Bacon-wrapped Chicken Wings, which are deep-fried and served with a homemade barbecue sauce. He then tries the Donut Grilled Cheese, which is exactly what it sounds like - a grilled cheese sandwich made with donuts instead of bread. Noah also gets to sample some of the flavorful beverages at the North East Fair, including the Apple Cider Slushie and the Blueberry Lemonade.

Throughout the episode, Noah also takes the time to meet some of the vendors and learn about their backgrounds and inspirations for their unique fair foods. He meets a former nurse who created a business selling deep-fried desserts, a family who has been selling funnel cakes for over 30 years, and a man who runs a stand dedicated solely to fried dough.

Overall, the sixth episode of Carnival Eats season 1 is filled with delicious and unique fair foods from both California and Massachusetts. Noah Cappe's enthusiasm and humor make the episode enjoyable to watch, and viewers will get a sense of the vibrant and diverse food cultures present at these fairs.
