Ep 10. Birthday Bear's Blues

When it comes to birthday celebrations, everyone tries their level best to make that one day as special as it can be for the person celebrating their birthday. But in "Birthday Bear's Blues," the tenth episode of the first season of the Care Bears: Classic Series, Birthday Bear is feeling quite the opposite of special.

Tenderheart Bear helps Birthday Bear realize that his feelings are normal and valid, and that it's okay to feel down sometimes. She reminds him that his Care Bear family loves and appreciates him for who he is, and that no amount of birthday celebrations can change that.

Together, Tenderheart Bear and Birthday Bear slowly make their way back to the party, where the rest of the Care Bears are waiting for them. And when Birthday Bear sees all the love and effort that his friends have put into his special day, he finally breaks into a smile.
