Ep 2. Sakura's Wonderful Friend

Sakura's Wonderful Friend is the second episode of the first season of Card Captor Sakura. The episode begins with Sakura and her best friend, Tomoyo, preparing for the upcoming school cultural festival. Sakura is excited to be performing a song with her class, but Tomoyo notices that Sakura has a sore throat and worries that she won't be able to sing.

After school, Sakura and Tomoyo decide to go shopping for a costume for Sakura's performance. While they are browsing in a store, Sakura notices a strange feeling and suddenly collapses. Tomoyo rushes to her side and helps her to a nearby bench.

Sakura wakes up and confides in Tomoyo that she had a strange dream about a mysterious figure wearing a cloak. Tomoyo tells Sakura that she is worried about her health and suggests that they stop shopping and go home. As they leave the store, Sakura sees the same mysterious figure from her dream and follows it to an empty classroom.

Inside the classroom, Sakura and Tomoyo discover a glowing card on the floor. Sakura reaches for it, but the card suddenly flies away. Tomoyo recognizes the card as a Clow Card and confirms that it is one of the cards that Sakura must capture as a Cardcaptor.

The next day, Sakura and Tomoyo return to the classroom to search for the Clow Card. They discover that the card has the power to control wind and has caused a chaotic scene for the students outside. Sakura dons her magical outfit and begins the task of capturing the Windy card.

In a frantic chase, Sakura manages to immobilize the card and capture it, returning it to its card-form. However, this victory is short-lived as Sakura must now face the reality that she will have to hunt down all of the cards scattered throughout the city.

Sakura is feeling overwhelmed by the daunting task ahead of her, but Tomoyo reminds her that she is not alone. Tomoyo shows her unconditional support and encouragement, promising to always stand by her side. Sakura, feeling grateful for her friend's support, is reassured of her decision to become a Cardcaptor.

The episode ends with Sakura and Tomoyo performing their song at the cultural festival, with Sakura's voice fully recovered and the Windy card safely captured.
