In the third episode of season one of Captain Scarlet, titled Big Ben Strikes Again, the Mysterons target one of London's most iconic landmarks, Big Ben. This time they threaten to destroy the clock tower using a powerful bomb, putting the lives of innocent civilians at risk.
Captain Scarlet and the rest of Spectrum respond to the threat and mobilize their resources to secure the area and evacuate nearby residents. Meanwhile, Captain Blue and Symphony Angel are sent to investigate a suspicious man who seems to be acting suspiciously near the base of Big Ben.
As they investigate, the man suddenly blows up the door leading to the inside of the clock tower and sets off a bomb. In the ensuing chaos, Captain Blue is injured and Symphony Angel is trapped inside the tower. Captain Scarlet and Captain Ochre rush to the scene to help, but the Mysterons are one step ahead and have already rigged the clock tower with explosives.
With time running out, Captain Scarlet is forced to devise a risky plan to prevent the clock tower from being destroyed and save Symphony Angel before it's too late. Meanwhile, Spectrum's intelligence agency is able to identify the identity of the man responsible for the bombing, leading to a dramatic confrontation and a surprising revelation.
In this thrilling episode of Captain Scarlet, the stakes are higher than ever as the Mysterons target one of the world's most recognizable landmarks and put the lives of innocent people in danger. With their enemies always one step ahead, the members of Spectrum must devise new strategies and take risks to protect the people they serve and preserve peace and security around the world.
