Hank receives a perfect opportunity to land a gig writing for a popular television show when he gets invited to a party hosted by the show's executive producer. The event is supposed to be Hank's big break into the world of Hollywood writing, and he's eager to make the most of it. Meanwhile, Karen is struggling with her feelings for Hank, and she finds herself confiding in her ex-husband Bill, who has recently returned to town. As Hank tries to impress the show's execs with his wit and charm, Karen starts to worry that he may be slipping away from her once again. To make matters worse, Hank's agent Charlie has arranged a meeting with a top-ranked executive, who could either make or break Hank's career. As the night progresses, Hank finds himself slowly unwinding from his nerves, and he begins to enjoy the company of the people around him. But when he wakes up in a stranger's house the next morning, his newfound success and confidence quickly evaporate. As he tries to piece together the events of the previous night, Hank realizes that he may have let his guard down a bit too much, and he soon finds himself in a dangerous and potentially career-ending situation. Will Hank be able to pick up the pieces of his life and avoid the pitfalls of fame and success? Watch "Going Down and Out in Beverly Hills" to find out.
