Ep 4. Magic

In Cake Wars season 5 episode 4, titled "Magic," four master cake makers face off to create magical dessert masterpieces. Host Jonathan Bennett welcomes the competitors and introduces the judges: pastry chef Waylynn Lucas and magician Justin Willman.

For the first challenge, the bakers must create a cake that incorporates a magic trick. They have just two hours to complete their cakes, which must both look impressive and taste delicious. Some bakers opt for more traditional tricks, like pulling a rabbit out of a hat, while others choose to incorporate modern technology into their cakes. The judges evaluate each cake based on taste, appearance, and the success of the magic element.

In the second challenge, the remaining three bakers must create cakes that transport the judges to a magical realm. They have four hours to create their immersive cakes, which must evoke a sense of wonder and whimsy. Some bakers choose to focus on a particular magical creature, like unicorns or dragons, while others create more abstract magical landscapes. The judges evaluate each cake based on taste, appearance, and how well it captures the spirit of magic.

As the competition heats up, tensions flare between some of the contestants. With the clock ticking down, each baker faces new challenges and obstacles in their quest to create the perfect magical cake. But in the end, only one baker will be crowned the winner of Cake Wars season 5 episode 4, and earn the title of Cake Wars champion.
