Ep 7. Chapter 7: Loss

As the seventh episode of the first season of "Cable Girls" begins, Lidia is still grappling with the aftermath of discovering that Francisco is her childhood friend, Álvaro. Meanwhile, Francisco’s wife Elisa is becoming more and more impatient with Lidia’s involvement in her marital problems, and continues to push Lidia to stay out of it. Despite this, Francisco and Lidia’s bond continues to grow stronger as they try to figure out what Elisa is hiding.

Marga, on the other hand, is still dealing with the trauma of her sexual assault at work. Despite her friends’ support, she is still struggling to get back to her normal life. However, when she receives a surprise visit from Pablo, her attacker, her fragile mental state is pushed even further. Marga is determined to face him and report him to the police, but is struggling with the fear of being ostracized by her colleagues and society at large.

Meanwhile, Carlota and Sara continue their passionate, secret romance. However, their relationship is threatened when Carlota’s father finds out about their homosexuality and tries to force her to end it. Carlota must choose whether to follow her heart or abandon Sara to protect her family’s reputation.

Finally, Ángeles is forced to confront her own heartbreak when she learns that Mario, the man she has been seeing behind her husband’s back, has been cheating on her with another woman. Ángeles must choose whether to leave her husband and risk her reputation, or stay with him and continue to endure a loveless marriage.

As the episode comes to a close, the girls find solace in each other and in their shared struggles. They reaffirm the bonds of sisterhood that have kept them strong through all their trials and tribulations, and vow to face whatever the future holds together.
