[C] - Control is a thrilling anime series, produced by Funimation, that takes us on a journey to a world where money rules everything, and people can use mysterious creatures, known as Assets, to fight battles for them. The story follows Kimimaro Yoga (voiced by Nobuo Tobita), a hard-working college student who spends his days studying and his nights working part-time at a convenience store, struggling to make ends meet. One day, he receives a strange invitation to a mysterious organization called the Financial District, where people use their Assets to gamble money in virtual battles for their own personal wealth.

Surprised but curious, Kimimaro decides to try out this new world and registers himself as an Entrepreneur, pairing up with an Asset named Mashu (voiced by Tetsuo Kaneo). As he delves deeper into the Financial District, Kimimaro discovers that there is much more at stake than just money. The fate of the world rests on the battles fought within the District.

Despite the excitement of earning a quick buck, Kimimaro begins to question the true nature of the Financial District and the consequences of his actions. He begins to see the reality of the world around him and realizes the importance of the life he leads outside of the District.

As Kimimaro navigates his way through the Financial District, he meets other Entrepreneurs, each with their own reasons for participating. Some are willing to do whatever it takes to win, while others are seeking something deeper than just financial gain.

The show also explores themes of identity, morality, and greed, as the characters grapple with the consequences of their choices and the true value of money.

One of the most fascinating parts of the series is the introduction of the Assets. These creatures are summoned by the Entrepreneurs and take on a variety of forms, from mythical beasts to humanoid figures. Each Asset possesses unique abilities that can give their Entrepreneur an edge in battle, but also come with their own set of risks and consequences.

The animation of the series is top-notch, with stunning battle scenes that showcase the power of the Assets and the intensity of the battles within the Financial District.

The voice acting in the series is also exceptional, with both Nobuo Tobita and Tetsuo Kaneo delivering fantastic performances as Kimimaro and Mashu, respectively. The supporting cast is also filled with talented voice actors who bring depth and nuance to their characters.

Overall, [C] - Control is an intense and thought-provoking anime series that explores the dangers of greed and the importance of finding one's true purpose in life. With a compelling storyline, stunning animation, and top-notch voice acting, it's definitely worth checking out for fans of the genre.
