Ep 1. Ryoma, with the Slimes

In the first episode of By the Grace of the Gods, we are introduced to the protagonist Ryoma Takebayashi, a 39-year-old man who dies and is reincarnated in a world of magic and monsters. Ryoma is summoned by the gods who offer him a new life in a peaceful world filled with adventure. After being given a lush forest as his new home, Ryoma begins to explore and learn about his new environment.

In his exploration, he discovers some slime creatures who are friendly towards him. Despite being hesitant at first, he soon realizes the potential of partnering up with these creatures. The slimes require a lot of care and attention, but Ryoma is up to the task. With his previous experience as a salaryman, he understands that this new life may present challenges, but he is determined to make a life for himself. He begins to teach the slimes different tricks and how to work alongside him.

After spending some time with the slimes, Ryoma decides to venture out and discover more about his new surroundings. He soon finds himself in a town full of people and creatures, and he is pleasantly surprised to see how friendly and welcoming everyone is. Ryoma decides to explore the town and ends up meeting two other adventurers, Reinbach and Gain, who ask him if he would be willing to join them on their journey.

While they may seem like a reckless pair, Ryoma decides to take a chance and join them, thinking it would be a great opportunity to learn more about the world he is in. They soon embark on a quest to explore an old ruin that has not been touched in quite some time. The ruins are filled with monsters and traps, but with Ryoma's knowledge and a little help from his slime friends, they are able to navigate their way through the ruins and discover a treasure at the end.

After the successful adventure, Ryoma returns to his forest home with his slimes and reflects on his new life. He is grateful for the chance to start fresh in a new world, and he feels as though he is finally living his life to the fullest. The episode ends with Ryoma looking out over his forest, ready for his next adventure.

Overall, the first episode of By the Grace of the Gods does an excellent job of setting up the world and introducing us to the main character and his companions. We get a glimpse of the magic and monsters that exist in this world, and we see how Ryoma is adjusting to his new life. The addition of the slimes adds a unique element to the show, and it will be interesting to see how Ryoma continues to work with and train them. With an exciting adventure already under his belt, we can't wait to see what Ryoma's next journey will entail.
